Our Mission

Boyhood Shadows Project was created out of a need to support, and help heal, male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

We network with individuals and organizations to educate, empower, and build awareness around the devastating effects and the therapeutic treatments for both survivors and their families.

By developing and implementing educational programs and events around the documentary film called "Boyhood Shadows", Boyhood Shadows Project uses the film as a therapeutic and educational tool to create a social action plan that deals with the issues raised by this powerful and compelling film.

Boyhood Shadows Project is committed to giving a voice to survivors and creating opportunities for healing by working with a variety of schools, veteran groups, prisons, nonprofits, therapeutic and treatment facilities and recovery organizations to create programs of awareness and healing within these communities.
